This will be the first high-priced productreview on my blog. It’s the La Prairie Anti-Aging Emulsion SPF30, a daily moisturizer. The list of ingredients is long. A couple of ingredients that I think are good are for example ginseng root extract, horsetail extract, soybean oil, plankton extract, and of course the mysterious La Prairie’s exclusive patented Cellular Complex. Actually I’m not sure what exactly it is, but it has to do with seaweed, which can only be good. The substance is not fluid, but not thick either, and it applies evenly and easy. One pump and a half is enough for your whole face and neck. I feel like I don’t need an extra moisturizer for my eyes, so I just use this one around my eyes too, just dap it in gently. I “discovered” this product about 7 years ago, and many times I tried to find a moisturizer that does the same but doesn’t cost as much. What I find important in a moisturizer is that it has at least SPF 30, doesn’t make my skin feel greasy or dry, and that it’s packaging doesn’t let light or oxygen in. Long story short – whenever I can afford it, I come back to this one. The La Prairie Anti-Aging Emulsion SPF30 has it all. The price is about €185,00 for 50ml, and you can buy it either online, or in department stores with a big beauty department. One bottle lasts for about a year with daily use. PS: If you have any recommendations on a similar daily moisturizer with SPF (Paula’s Choice, anyone?), please let me know!
