St Ives Apricot Scrub Fresh Skin

I got the St. Ives apricot scrub at the CVS pharmacy while I was in L.A. 3 months ago. It’s an “Allure” readers’  choice award winner, so I figured it must be good.

The second ingredient on the list is walnut shell powder, and one of the last ingredients is apricot fruit extract. But the products smells like apricot, so I don’t blame them for calling it apricot scrub ;-)

As you can see, the structure is really quite rough, so don’t use it when you have blemishes because you can easily destroy your skin with this. On the package it says -use 3 to 4 times per week for best results- but I would say that that’s a little too much. At least for my skin. Use it very gently and not more than once a week, and then it really is a nice exfoliator.

The St. Ives apricot scrub is only $4,49 and available at most drugstores.

  1. Haha I guess I’m in the slow group then, I don’t think it’s available in Europe though so I’m happy I discovered it!
